What we collect

• When you book a call: your name, company, email address and the time you chose. Booking runs on Google Calendar.
• When you email or call us: your contact details and what you choose to tell us.
• When you visit: the pages you view, how you reached the site, your rough location and your browser and device type. Google Analytics collects this for us, using cookies. Cloudflare, our web host, also counts visits and measures page speed, without cookies.
• Basic technical information such as your IP address and browser type, kept in our web host's logs.

The website has no forms of its own. The readiness check on the Resources page stays in your browser, and your answers are not sent to us. Your light or dark choice is also stored only in your browser.

How we use it

To arrange and prepare for your call, to reply to you, to see which pages people find useful and to keep the site running. We don't sell your information, we don't use it for advertising and we don't use it to train AI models.

Cookies and Google services

Google Analytics sets cookies to tell visits apart. You can block cookies in your browser settings, or turn off Google Analytics with Google's opt-out add-on. This site also loads its fonts from Google, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when a page opens. Google explains how it uses this data.

Who we share it with

Only the services that run this website, our email, our calendar and our phone line, and only so they can do that work. They handle it under their own privacy terms. We would also share information if the law required it.

How long we keep it

If you don't become a client, we delete your emails and booking details within two years. Analytics data is deleted within 14 months. If you become a client, we keep your records as long as our contract and the law require.

If you become a client

This policy covers the website and our first conversations. Anything you share during a project is covered by our contract and non-disclosure agreement.

Your choices

Ask us at hello at smokestackpartners dot com to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you. We reply within 45 days.

Security

We use business accounts, with access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords or other sensitive details by email.

Children

This website is for businesses and is not meant for children under 13.
